Hunt Encino

  • Texas Big Game Awards
This prestigious award scores entries within eight geographic regions of Texas and includes whitetail deer. All Scoring is based on the Boone and Crockett scoring system.

Once a trophy has been officially measured, a series of steps is completed to issue accurate processing of the trophy entry.

The starting place is the fully complete, current, regional score chart signed and dated by the official measurer appointed by the Boone and Crockett Club. These forms must be meticulously documented.

The hunter's signature on the entry affidavit is notarized by a notary public or witnessed by the official measurer. Information must be accurately presented for the hunter to sign the affidavit form.

All entries require a series of clearly focused, close-up photographic documents from front, both sides and top of each entry. Digital photographs of 1200 DPI or better are now acceptable as required to protect the integrity of the club's careful process and archives.
